Two From Two.

Escaped early today to beat the jungle that is Nongs riding on a sunny Saturday. And a voting day at that so you know there is much added bulk to the plethora of craft stalls and used book sales while people decide the political future of the nation. Definitely a good day for copping abuse with two cars in a row having a go at our environmentally friendly and good health promoting activity. Screw you guys. Oh and just to set the record straight i didn't make it to the teacher protests this week...I'm campaigning for the teacher pay rise..in my own quiet, let someone else do it and go ride your bike in the sunshine way.

Seems like my knee issues are lingering like any past present or future Idol contestant..don't know which is more painful really. Tis early days however so all is not lost and looking forward to getting smashed on a physio table near you in the near future. Meanwhile it seemed like a good idea at the time to tidy the site up a little bit. Been doing some hardcore spring cleaning round the house so I thought I'd extend that into cyber-space too...yep life is good. Lator..cw.

It would have been pretty easy to get carried away with dozens of classic 'movember' examples, especially as the month is rapidly drawing to a close and those with any form and proudly in full swing. So when Mac D arrived for today's ride with this shining example it was hard not to put this one up...

There must be something appealing about riding your bike and only turning left. Hell, as a nation we are pretty darn good at it on a world scale.

There is something about the whole country town sports mentality and atmosphere, where talent is bred from making the most of what you have outside the big city facilities. Bendigo is no exception, witnessing some pretty impressing racing action...all on a Thursday night.

So today Kat got to watch madd CX action in Boulder while I got to teach the youth of the nation some 9000 miles away. Jealous...yep, absolutely. Sunshine, speed and some crazy mob dressing up as William Wallace sounds like one hell of a grand day out. I hope it wasn't a windy day with all those kilts..

This week will see a reboot to the system for me after putting mind before body the last few weeks. The bike will uncharacteristically stay in the shed to let some injured wounds heal up. Lesson's are learned everyday, just always a matter of not repeating them. So here's to a week of watching some cross...on dvd's..well I guess it's the next best thing if I can't be there..lator, cw.
